Bread tag for wheelchairs

Bread tags for wheelchairs is a innovative project which allows everyone to have a hand in making a difference. The project is a collaboration between various companies and organisations and allows us to collect and recycle the plastic tag that closes the bag your bread comes in, in exchange for wheelchairs.

Approximately 20 black bags adds up to the required weight of 247.5 kg needed for one basic wheelchair.

Several collection points have been established in and around town.  Please check the list to see where the drop off point is nearest to you.  You may start your own collection point at your place of business of local school.  We have printed stickers for cans / containers that you can use for collecting the tags.  Place the container  with the sticker in a visible place and ask everyone to help you collect.  We do ask that you make sure that you will be able to deliver the full containers (or contents of) to us.  At this point we have so many collection points that we are not able to make it to everyone to collect.
